Who is Dan Neal? Meet Rylan Clark's hunky husband-to-be ahead of star-studded wedding

TV host Rylan Clark will tie the knot with his partner Dan Neal today.

From celebrity bridesmaids to Gok Wan acting as stylist, it's sure to be a lavish, star-studded do.

But just who is Rylan's husband-to-be?

Former police officer Dan was previously a member of Scotland Yard's Operation Yewtree squad, which investigated the Jimmy Savile scandal and a number of other high profile celebrities.

He met Rylan in 2013, when he appeared on the 14th series of Big Brother.

Rylan hosts the spin-off show, Big Brother's Bit On the Side, and interviewed him after his elimination. It's been love ever since.

"I didn't expect to meet someone, so I was lucky I found him. It was the right place at the right time," Rylan recently revealed.

The couple kept their romance largely away from the public eye but confirmed their engagement in September last year after Dan got down on bended knee and popped the question in Paris.

Rylan, 27, previously spoke about the possibility of getting married, saying: "The wedding would be three days in the middle of nowhere, in a beautiful manor house."

He added: "Just because Im gay doesn't mean I can't settle down and have kids."

As well as being a reality star, dad-of-one Dan is also very hot, and stripped completely naked for the December 2013 issue of Gay Times magazine.

The happy couple will tie the knot today in front of family and a host of A list guests.

Stars including Katie Price, Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford, James Arthur, Matt and Emma Willis, and Ella Henderson are all expected to descend on Essex for the do.

Claire Richards, from Steps, will act as a bridesmaid after she and Rylan met when they took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2013. Hilariously, Rylan, 27, warned the singer, whose size can fluctuate, she would have to buy her own dress if she put on weight.

Dans fellow former Big Brother co-star Hazel OSullivan will act as a bridesmaid, as well as some of the couples family members.

And Gok Wan has styled the pair, who will no doubt look dashing.
