What we love: The deep strategy. Is your rival deflecting your artillery barrage with an energy shield? Unleash a fleet of bombers to rain destruction from above. Opponent building a powerful nuke? Beat them to the punch with a Broadside Cannon its weaker but will be ready quicker, so you can attack first!

Quick tip: Tap the triangular buttons on your control panel to zoom in and out on your opponents cruiser. If you see them building a naval factory, get some turrets or gunships up and running to sink those fast-attacking frigates.

Meet the creator: Battlecruisers is the brainchild (and first App Store release) of New Zealandbased Mecha Weka, a studio started by two friends who taught themselves how to build games from the ground up.
