pyarrow.compute.tan(x, /, *, memory_pool=None)#

Compute the tangent.

NaN is returned for invalid input values; to raise an error instead, see tan_checked.

Parameters:

xArray-like or scalar-like

Argument to compute function.

memory_poolpyarrow.MemoryPool, optional

If not passed, will allocate memory from the default memory pool.
