Cashback on card spendPublic preview

You can earn 2% cashback on eligible transactions when you use your card. Stripe credits cashback to your financial account balance at settlement.

You only earn cashback on cards issued on the Mastercard network. If you return an eligible purchase, Stripe automatically reverses the cashback earned on that purchase when the return settles. If you have a physical or digital Visa card, go to the Balances page in the Dashboard to request a new card issued on the Mastercard network.

Cashback on stablecoin-backed cards Private preview

Cashback on stablecoin-backed cards is in private preview. The cashback benefit matches the benefit on fiat-backed cards, and Stripe credits it to your stablecoin balance.

You can view your total earned cashback on the Balances page and the Cards page. You can view cashback earned per transaction on each transactions detail page.

Ineligible transactions

The following Merchant Category Codes (MCC) arent eligible to earn cashback. These categories represent cash-like, gambling, and government payment transactions.
