Do you want to play The Duskbloods early? Well, you might be in luck! A closed network test was announced during the June 9th Nintendo Direct, and the registration dates, selection schedule, and play sessions have now been revealed. The closed network test is officially scheduled for August 21-24.

This network test is closed, meaning that not everyone will get a chance to play The Duskbloods early. To be in the running, you will have to sign up for the experience. Sign-ups start on July 22nd, and if you're interested, you should register as soon as those applications open. Nintendo has not said how many participants will be selected, and you don't want to miss your chance! So set those alarms for July 22nd and don't forget to sign up.

Nintendo shared this exciting opportunity via a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) that included information on exactly when sign-ups begin, when the selection announcement will occur, and exactly when the network test will begin and end:

Interested players can apply for the opportunity via The Duskbloods' official campaign website, and if you're one of the chosen ones, you'll find out on August 7th. FromSoftware hasn't confirmed exactly how much of The Duskbloods will be available to play in the closed network test, but it is a multiplayer game, so the test is primarily designed to trial the servers and see how they handle stress ahead of the game's release.

The Duskbloods is FromSoftware's first original title for the Nintendo Switch 2, so eager participants will have to be equipped with that hardware. It's also an online multiplayer game, so you will need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to participate. Even if you're not selected to participate in the network test, don't worry! The game is still slated for a 2026 release date, so you don't have to wait much longer to get your hands on FromSoftware's latest bloodthirsty adventure.
