Peacefully in his sleep on 8th August, aged 89 years.
Cherished husband of Eva, dearly loved Dad to Ian and Dawn, much loved father-in-law to Kev and brother-in-law to Kevin, devoted Grandad to Adam, Melissa, Holly, Ellen and Great Grandad to Eliza and Harris.
Known, loved and remembered by many for his sense of humour, quick fired wit, kind and gentle nature and always there to lend a helping hand. John will be deeply missed.
Family & friends please meet at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Thursday 27th August at 12 noon, and afterwards all welcome at Tynemouth Golf Club to celebrate John's life.
Family flowers only please, any donations welcome in lieu of Mind & Alzheimer's Research.
