This extension does it all, Im a victim of identity theft and this has been a God Send. For over ten years someone has sit around watching my ever move through my main email with yahoo. I had this email for over 15 yrs now. These people took every financial account I had and then spent money on everyone. They have accounts with each of the credit bureaus, they have subjected me to countless data breaches, in which they claimed my claim in their names.I have had no relief since August 2020 when I first found out that my identity was stolen. Sorry Im rambling but I just cannot say enough about this AdGuard, it has given me relief it has given me options in my reliefAnd just when I thought it couldnt get any better I got an invitation to do the testing! Im at awe at the work you all have put in to help others, I would have given as many stars as there were if there could be more. My only complaint is I have bought the upgrade and it got stolen because these people are roothless and make aliases to every email account I make, then they take it over. This has happened with many apps and extensions not just this one! However, this one is by far my favorite then and now and probably forever. If you need something g that really works and that is user friendly, Id urge you to try AdGuard and AdGuard VPN as well its a package deal really.

Can use it to listen to videos with your screen turned off (a feature that is only on YT Premium) and includes pretty much all the features for videos on the desktop version of YT like looping for example, however for my phone the settings, captions, and volume buttons are pretty small and Ive accidentally clicked the X button before and had to re-open videos. I use it to listen to YT sleep ambience videos in the night because of the looping and being able to turn the screen off while a video is being played to save power on my phone. If you want to use it for that just go to YT and select the video you want to watch, hit the share button and click AdGuard, it will then send the video into the app, pull out of the screen a little to show a gear icon in the top right corner of the screen, hit More Options and select loop then let the video play for at least 5 seconds before turning your phone off then back on, when you do a bar showing the video should appear and you can begin to hit the play button before turning the phone off or waiting for it to automatically go off. Also you dont need a subscription for this and theres really no ads or payment options inside the app itself.

I discovered by accident doing many manual updates to the filters that Easylist and EasyPrivacy are updated regularly every four hours. If you dont see an update on the timestamps at least once a day then that means that all of the bugs are not yet resolved in iOS or the workarounds in AdGuard still need some work. It might just mean that the bugs in iOS have indeed been fixed. And AdGuard needs to put some things back to the way they used to be before they tried to get around the iOS 17 bugs. Its like getting a new engine part for your vehicle that has bugs. You have to do modifications to the vehicle to get the buggy part to work. Once a new engine part comes in you have to work on the engine once again to make sure that the new correctly working part doesnt break the engine.Until you have confirmation that your filters are being automatically updated regularly be sure that you manually update them every few hours.

Finally, he left a message said this case is not typical but I will asked for our workers solved it and contacted you at most in 48hours. THIS IS A FAKE PROMISE AGAIN! yes! Before, he just kept giving me fake promise. And this time I waited 4 days already. No replying, and even the phone is not available now. I tried to have my best attitude because I understand their jobs are not easy. But at lease, giving back me a professional attitude and available credit. BECAUSE I SAW THERE WOULD BE LIFE TIME GUARANTEE WHEN I TRUSTED AND PURCHASED LICENSE FOR LIFE TIME WHICH IS NOT CHEAP!!!

This update is just a chill guy that makes the app up to 30x faster. We did some work on Safari Converter, so now AdGuard filtering rules are converted to Safari rules in just 0.52 seconds instead of 1030. You will notice the difference especially when updating, enabling, or disabling filters and turning protection on.

With Apple fixing its iOS 17 bug that was limiting the number of Safari content-blocking rules, we removed our temporary workaround for that problem. In short, that means you can finally enable a large number of filters without them crashing, thanks to the fact that all of the 900K rules are available again. Please note that for this fix to work you need to update to the latest iOS (but if you are using iOS 16 and below, this bug doesnt affect you). Also, we updated Scriptlets one of the essential libraries needed for the apps performance.

Fixed an issue on iOS 17 where filters would just update endlessly without actually updating. While we were trying to get to the root of the problem we discovered that it was caused by a bug in iOS itself (content blockers crash). It took us a lot of time and effort, but we managed to find a workaround and fix the problem you can learn more about our solution from AdGuard blog.
Also, we updated the dependencies of three components that are essential for efficient blocking: SafariConverterLib, Scriptlets, and TSUrlFilter. Lastly, we reworked DnsLibs (our DNS filtering engine), which significantly improved DNS-over-HTTPS/3 stability, and implemented some other fixes for the apps better performance.

Spring is the time for renewal, and AdGuard products are no exception.
We've updated all the libraries used in the app and improved the UI, so now AdGuard for iOS runs smoother and is more user-friendly.
Advanced blocking rules acceleration
The Advanced Protection feature is something we're proud of and what sets us apart from other content blockers on iOS. With this module, AdGuard for iOS can apply advanced filtering rules that supplement standard Safari content blocking rules and help effectively tackle complex and encrypted ads.
However, due to the peculiarities of iOS, the *Advanced Protection* features operation was always limited compared to other versions of AdGuard. For example, some rules applied noticeably later than page load. Sometimes this led to ad "flickering" as it was only hidden after page loading. In other cases, this even prevented certain ads from being blocked.
When preparing the new version of AdGuard for iOS, we put in a lot of effort into speeding up the implementation of advanced blocking rules which directly improved the overall app performance. We hope you'll notice the difference.
Native support for the :has() pseudo-class
With Safari v16.4, content blockers gained the capability to select elements for hiding using the :has() pseudo-class. While this might sound complex and confusing, it's essential to know that this feature is incredibly important to us. It allows for the selection of ad blocks based on their content.
Until AdGuard v4.4.6 for iOS, support for the :has() pseudo-class was implemented as part of the Advanced Protection module, available only in paid version. Now, this functionality is available to all AdGuard for iOS users!

Besides, the DNS-over-QUIC protocol implementation now supports RFC 9250 (proposed standard), and the experimental status was removed from DoQ support.
