PacketCrypt Documentation

PacketCrypt Coin is a native mined coin based on an open source project. There are multiple companies in the PacketCrypt Coin ecosystem but no company behind PacketCrypt Coin.
PacketCrypt Coin allows users to monetize their unused internet bandwidth. By participating in the PacketCrypt Coin Network you are helping to build a faster, stronger, and more secure, decentralized network.

Trade on the community Telegram chat (always use escrow and read the guidelines).

PacketCrypt Coin is mined using the novel PacketCrypt bandwidthhard mining algorithm that requires both CPU and network bandwidth. Mining together with other miners gives a better advantage.

See the Mining Guide.

The Network Steward was part of the consensus rules of the legacy PKT blockchain. 20% of every newly mined block is routed to a wallet that funds opensource projects. 90day deadlines ensure the money is spent or burned. The Network Steward ceased to exist with the pkt.cash migration to a Base Token. PacketCrypt is also known as PKTc or PKT classic, it is the original block chain.

PacketCrypt is also known as PKTc or PKT classic, it was formerly known as pkt.cash or "pkt", it is the original block chain of pkt.cash before it migrated to a token on base. Some code and guides still make reference of pktc as 'pkt'.
