Denisa Checiu is a Robotics working student at QuantStack. She is a second year at Jacobs University Bremen, majoring in Robotics and Intelligent Systems and minoring in Computer Science.

Prior to QuantStack, she worked as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate course 'Programming in C and C++' and for the graduate course 'Data Acquisition and Sensors Network', alongside her role as a main organizer for jacobsHack!, one of the biggest student hackathons in Europe. She was also a programmer for WWF, working on an interactive notebook, as part of the 'Green Schools' project.

Bringing her experience, she is eager to learn and grow, while contributing to JupyterLab.
