Supercell is a Finnish mobile games company with offices in Helsinki, San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, and London. You might know us as the makers of Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, and Squad Busters. Our mission is to create great games that as many people as possible play for years and that are remembered forever. So, how do we make great games? By putting together the best teams and giving them the freedom and independence to succeed. And by taking risks, failing, sharing learnings, and killing lots of projects. We love that you interact with us! Please be mindful of how you comment on things though we welcome tough feedback, but any personal attacks or aggressive communication will get you blocked from further commenting. Also, we are not able to offer player support on this platform. Please go to https://supercell.com/en/support/ and they'll sort you out! Also: For feedback/questions/thoughts on our games, you might want to join the conversation on the the game-specific social media channels. That's where it's at So many alsos!

We spend quite a lot of time thinking about LiveOps. We hear other people do too. So on September 9th, were putting some of them in a room at Supercell London for a LiveOps Craft Exchange. People close to the decisions and trade-offs of running live games, come compare notes. Whether your role is in ops, product, design, no matter. You can register your interest here: https://luma.com/vfszladv. Our office is only so big, so registering puts you on a waitlist rather than guaranteeing a spot. Well fit in as many people as we can. Wed also like to do more of these for other crafts! Tell us which one we should do next: https://lnkd.in/d2XvGigi
Team Support and IT are looking for interns! Onsite roles in Helsinki. Fun, full-time and paid internships. Check out the role details and apply through links in the comments. Thank you! Please note, these roles require a valid work permit in Finland. #internship
A suspicious number of Supercellians are heading to gamescom dev in a bit over a week! Were looking forward to seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and talking about games for several days straight. A few places to find us: - Fantastic duo Emilia R. and James Back from Clash Royale are giving a talk. They know quite a lot about Clash Royale, so this seemed sensible. - Were hosting Belonging in Games. Its a relaxed gathering for games industry people who care about belonging, access and opportunity. Link and more details in the comments. - We also set up a lounge at the conference. It has seats. It has water. It has power outlets. You can recharge yourself and your phone, possibly both at the same time. Otherwise, our people will be wandering around everywhere. See you in Cologne!
200 applications. Wow. WOW!Thank you for the enormous interest + time and dedication put into all these beautiful applications. Well now take the proper time to go through the submissions.

We wrote another article about Titan, our game engine. After the last one, some of you politely asked if the next article could actually explain the engine. Reasonable request. This one is about how the Brawl Stars and Titan teams made loading much faster on older Android devices, what broke along the way, and why owning our own game engine makes this kind of work possible. Contains: parallel loading, race conditions, spaghetti, one slightly stupid Supercell logo problem, and a noble act involving the removal of a spreadsheet.
This year, like every year before it, many Supercellians are taking time off to enjoy their four-week summer holiday. The Recruitment Team included. If you've recently applied for a role at Supercell, this is your official heads-up that our response times may be a little slower than usual over the next few weeks. The good news? We're still hiring. Your application is still moving forward, just at a slightly more summer-friendly pace. Thanks for your patience. We'll be in touch as soon as we're back in August. -Supercell's Recruitment Team <3

Sharing this completely voluntary and unprompted employee praise post and a link to read more about our benefits and compensation. It's pretty good! https://lnkd.in/dXbeieUv
I dont post often, but I wanted to share a bit of appreciation to Supercell. One of the many perks that they offer is that employees can take a two-month paid leave for every four years that we work at the company. As an old timer, this is not the first one, but Im yet again starting another sabbatical leave tomorrow. Its the perfect time to spend quality time with the family and friends, go back to a proper exercise routine, recharge batteries and come back with hunger for new challenges. When I explain this kind of benefit to my friends (some of them industry peers), I cant help to feel half ashamed and half grateful of how lucky we are. Anyway, have a good summer!
