I have the following Windows 11 batch file that I run, and then below it I have my batch file that I attempt to kill it with. I have searched Google and ChatGPT several time and tried all the solutions as you will see below. Any help appreciated! Although I'm not a professional developer, I have some understanding of software development. It's puzzling that Windows has never unified many clearly standardizable aspects file dialogs still come in multiple era-specific styles, full-screen taskbar behavior differs between UWP and Win32 apps, and system pop-ups are rebuilt individually with every UI refresh. These issues may each have technical justifications, but from a user's perspective, such long-standing inconsistencies are hard to ignore.[]

I want to change the way Windows Search opens web results. For example, when I search for keywords like Fortnite from the Start menu, clicking on a search result always opens Bing in Microsoft Edge. New update as of 8/13/2026 has Microslop Edge randomly greying out all of Microslop Edge for 3 to 7 seconds before realizing "its just a **bleep**ing website, we can handle that, right?" Your AI sucks, Start menu can't find a local file before pointing to a website totally unrelated, things that worked in Microsoft XP don't anymore? I guess my only question is what Distro of Linux do current Microslop employees use at home? After reconnecting the drive, these pinned folders are not automatically restored and must be manually repinned. Hello, I am unable to complete institution verification for Microsoft Learn for Educators, and both documented support channels are currently failing for me. What is happening: 1. My institution verification was rejected with a "Blocked" response from AVE. 2. The in-portal Create a Case form returns "An error has occurred while processing your request. Please try again later" every time I submit, so I cannot raise a ticket through the documented route. I understand at least one other educator has reported this same combination recently, so I am writing directly in the hope this can be routed manually. I believe the AVE block is because our institutional domain is pathfinderfoundation.co.in rather than a .edu or .ac.in domain. In India, a large proportion of accredited private higher education institutions operate on .co.in and .org domains, so the suffix is not an indicator of accreditation status here.
