Disney+ fans urged to act fast as 3.99 subscription deal ends in hours

Disney+ is knocking 33% off its subscriptions but time is running out to claim it

Disney+ customers can secure a discounted subscription for three months.

Disney+ began the year by cutting its subscription costs, but the surprise sale is drawing to a close. For those who act fast, the streaming service is currently offering new and returning subscribers a 3.99 Disney+ subscription.

However, they have only until 11.59pm on Wednesday (January 28) to get the deal. Taking advantage of this will secure the reduced price for three months and grant full access to a vast library of Disney content from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and beyond.

With this promotion, Disney+ has become the most affordable streaming platform when compared to the basic tiers of Netflix (5.99), Prime Video (5.99) and Apple TV (9.99). It's worth noting that the offer applies to the Standard with Ads package, though discounts are also available on the ad-free Disney+ Standard at 6.99 (was 9.99) and Disney+ Premium at 9.99 (was 14.99).

This represents savings of up to 15 depending on which package is chosen compared to the standard monthly rates. To claim the offer, customers can sign up here before the January 28 cut-off.

Those choosing the Standard packages can stream in 1080p Full HD on two devices at once, whilst the premium-tier Premium package provides 4K UHD and HDR on four devices with Dolby Atmos audio support. Standard and Premium subscribers can also download programmes to watch offline without using up their mobile data allowance, reports the Liverpool Echo.

After the initial three-month promotional period, the Disney+ subscription will automatically renew at the current monthly price unless cancelled. This allows customers to enjoy the lower rate without having to commit long-term.

Meanwhile, Sky's January sale is also nearing its end, with discounted TV packages such as the 35 Essential TV, Netflix and 300Mbps Full Fibre Broadband deal set to expire on February 3. This is followed by the conclusion of the 4.25 Sky Glass Air offer on February 11.
