A crafty, floral tribute is being planned for a mother and her two young children who tragically died in a house fire on Boxing Day.
Locally named as Fionnghuala Shearman, known as Nu, died alongside her children Eve, seven, and four-year-old Ohner in a house fire on Brimscombe Hill near Stroud.
There are now plans for a "crafty tribute" to Nu, who was a fashion designer, and her children, which anyone can take part in.
Posting to a local Facebook group, Tasha Lloyd has asked people to help create flowers for a floral tribute, which will be left at the Brimscombe War Memorial.
Tasha has asked people to help create flowers which "don't have to be perfect, just colourful".
There will be donation boxes at a number of locations across Stroud, with the cut off on January 16, 2026.
In the post, Tasha said: "I hope that the process of making something helps the community and I have a feeling she would of loved it."
A GoFundMe has also been launched, which at the time of reporting, has raised over 321,000.
Emergency services were called to a mid-terrace Cotswold stone cottage on Brimscombe Hill at about 3am on Boxing Day.
Mr and Mrs Shearman had been awoken by the fire and attempted to reach their children in the rear bedroom.
Mr Shearman smashed a bathroom window to try to access his childrens room from outside but was unable to do so.
Because of the severity of the fire, Mr Shearman could not regain entry to the house through the bathroom window and also could not force open the ground-floor doors.
Police believe the fire started on the ground floor and investigations are ongoing to establish the cause, but it is not being treated as suspicious.
The fire destroyed the roof, the ceilings and stairs, as well as causing other significant internal damage.
On Tuesday, it was confirmed the bodies of the two children and the family dog had been recovered from the property.
The body of a woman in her late 30s had been recovered earlier.
