Were the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), maintaining accurate records for more than 53 million drivers in Great Britain and 48 million vehicles across the United Kingdom. Last year (2025 to 2026), we collected more than 9 billion in Vehicle Excise Duty (VED).

DVLA is an executive agency, sponsored by the Department for Transport.
