In the two-part special report available now on our YouTube channel, Crime Correspondent Paul Healy and Crime and Defence Editor Mick O'Toole travel to Kerry to investigate the baffling murder of Mr Gaine.

Mr Gaines dismembered remains were discovered in a tank on his land seven weeks after he vanished on March 20.

Paul and Mick attempt to speak with American man Michael Kelley, a suspect in the case, and also meet his solicitor, who insists he is innocent.

Along the way, they speak to locals and revisit the key events that unfolded in the days leading up to Mr Gaines disappearance.
