Man, 60s, dies following house fire in Limerick

A man has sadly died following a house fire in Limerick.


Garda and emergency services were rushed to the scene after a fire broke out at a home in Abbeyfeale, Limerick on Tuesday afternoon at around 2pm.


The body of the man, aged in 60s has been removed from the scene to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem examination.

Garda have said that investigations are ongoing but that no foul play is suspected at this time.
