Two people have been arrested after Garda seized some 100,000 worth of cocaine during search operations in Co Leitrim and Co Roscommon.
The searches were part of ongoing investigations into the activities of an organised crime group based in Sligo, Garda said.
The operations took places over the weekend.
Garda in Sligo and Leitrim, supported by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, stopped and searched the vehicles in Carrick-on-Shannon and in Keadue.
Suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of 100,000 was seized and two people were arrested.
A man aged in his 40s and a woman aged in her 50s have been detained at a Garda station in the north western region of the country under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis, Garda said.
Investigations are ongoing.
