An AI governance audit should produce five answers: Which AI systems are live? Where does personal data move? Which systems carry the highest risk? Who owns each decision? What evidence can your team produce today? On August 19 (tomorrow) at 9:00 AM PT, Jodi Daniels, Steve Gentry, and Jordan Tucker will break down how to build an owned, auditable AI governance program. Save your seat: https://lnkd.in/gCCmwkRY
90% of privacy programs expanded scope in 2025 to support AI governance. The challenge: compliance playbooks built for GDPR and CCPA weren't designed for how AI risk actually works today. Layer hundreds of new AI laws on top of the existing U.S. privacy patchwork, and the compliance burden multiplies fast. DataGrail's 2026 Privacy and AI Trends Report found that over 60% of businesses marketing AI capabilities dont disclose AI subprocessors in their legal documentation. Careful risk assessments go stale as vendors rapidly expand their AI capabilities. Nearly a third of AI products that disclose capabilities at all acknowledge higher risk practices like processing sensitive data or enabling automated decision making. Traditional privacy management wasnt built for this, and closing the gap takes more than updating policy and training slides. Join Jodi Daniels (CEO & Privacy Consultant, Red Clover Advisors) and Steve Gentry (Fractional CISO & CPO, Cognate Cyber) and the DataGrail team for a practical session on what it looks like to refresh your privacy compliance strategy for the AI era.
Everyone touches AI governance. No one owns it. That gap is exactly where AI risk lives. Legal reviews it. Security assesses it. Data builds with it. Privacy inherits the risk. When something goes wrong, there is no single owner and no single place to look. So we mapped the RACI that fixes it: who is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed for AI. Most programs have no one in the Accountable seat. Vera makes that seat real, with one live inventory, a named owner, and an audit trail that is always current. Swipe for the RACI. Then go deeper live on Aug 19: https://lnkd.in/gbnze8s4
Most privacy teams run their data inventory from a spreadsheet that's wrong by Monday. New systems, new data stores, new AI features show up every week. DataGrail keeps it live. Vera discovers systems and data flows continuously, so the inventory maps itself and stays accurate the day you need it. See the living data map: https://lnkd.in/gD2pFZa2
A packed month: 31 product updates in July, and Vera took on more of the work. Vera now reads and triages your incoming request emails on its own, identifying the requester, classifying the request, and kicking off the deletion, access, or opt-out workflow. Ask Vera your DROP data broker deletion status and deadlines on demand. Plus a fully overhauled assessment collaborator experience, bulk-remove up to 500 systems from your Live Data Map, and clearer consent analytics. Which update are you most excited to try first? Everyone touches AI governance. No one owns it. And most privacy programs were never built for how AI risk actually works. Join us live on August 19 at 9:00 AM PT for The AI Governance Audit: Is Your Privacy Program Built for How AI Risk Actually Works? Jodi Daniels (Red Clover Advisors), Steve Gentry (Cognate Cyber), and Jordan Tucker (DataGrail) break down where AI risk hides in a modern privacy program, what an owned and auditable AI governance function looks like, and how to get there before it becomes a liability. Q2 was the biggest quarter in DataGrail's history. Not our best in a while, an actual breakout moment. A few reasons why: 1 Sales hit 162% to plan. Our highest ARR quarter in company history. And we've signed more new customers year-to-date than in all of 2025 combined. Marketing built pipeline unlike we've ever seen, and we enter Q3 with 40% more than Q2. 2 The category picked a leader. G2 named DataGrail the leader in DSR Management, Consent Management, and Privacy Management. 3 76% of our customer base has now used Vera, our privacy AI agent, up from 50% in April. Weekly active customers hit an all-time high. Vera is auto-categorizing cookies, parsing emails, and running assessments in the product and via our MCP. 4 Customers stay with us. We renewed every single customer this quarter but one. In a year when every budget is under a microscope, the product is doing exactly what we promised. 5 Amy Hollo is our new COO. Proud to partner with Amy every day, and we'll continue to build on the momentum through the rest of the year. Deep gratitude to our customers, our partners, and every person at DataGrail who made this our best quarter yet. Q3, let's go.
Privacy can't keep up with AI by hand. Enforcement is past $8.5B, across thousands of new AI projects. So Vera does the work. It flags AI risk automatically, drafts assessments in minutes instead of months, maps every system and vendor, and manages consent rules. And it runs inside the AI tools your team already uses. With DataGrail's MCP, Claude can assess a system, add it to your inventory, and kick off a DPIA. Every action governed. Every decision human-approved. Check out Vera here: https://lnkd.in/gSD2Tnkv

You have a consent banner. That is not the same as honoring the signal. Global Privacy Control is a browser-level opt-out. If it is not detected and passed through to every downstream tag and vendor, the banner is theater. Regulators are now treating that gap as a violation. DataGrail detects GPC, honors it everywhere downstream, and keeps the record to prove it. Swipe for the four places consent quietly leaks, and how to close each one. More here: https://lnkd.in/gUSjTpyr
Broker deletion used to be a manual slog: chase every downstream buyer, delete one system at a time, hope you didn't miss one, then try to prove it. We put the before and after side by side: manual broker-by-broker deletion versus a single DROP run in DataGrail. That difference is the whole reason the platform exists.
