Before students get their results tomorrow, I want to thank teachers, school leaders, exams officers and support staff who helped them get there. Tomorrow is of course about students and their achievements. But it's also a chance to recognise and thank everyone who played an important part in supporting them along the way. These results will help open doors for students. They are the key to vocational, technical and academic routes, and to their futures. So, thank you again for everything you do for your students.

Grade distributions do look fairly similar each year, but thats because student performance across the country tends to be very stable from year to year.
