The Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) is now supported in Amazon Bedrock AgentCore payments. Agents can transact using stablecoins in payment sessions with a spend cap and an expiry, giving you an audit trail for observability:
AgentCore payments is now generally available, as part of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, built with Coinbase and Stripe. An agent's autonomy has always ended where payment began. It could reason, plan, and choose the right tool, then a paid article or API would stop the task and send it back to a person. Now the task keeps going. The agent buys the article it needs, pays for API access, pays for the MCP server it calls. The payment resolves inside the execution loop. Every transaction runs in a payment session with a spend cap and an expiry, checked deterministically at the infrastructure layer, with audit trails in AgentCore observability. Support for both x402 and MPP means you integrate once and your agent can pay any compatible service, whichever protocol the merchant uses. A new level of agent autonomy is unlocked. https://go.aws/45vrJQt

Platforms can build fully custom, embedded Earn products with access to Tempos features like privacy, predictable fees, and fee splitting. Why it matters for your business: Build a new revenue stream from idle balances. You choose the underlying assets and decide how earnings are split between your platform and your customers. Customers get a reason to keep funds on-platform instead of moving them elsewhere.
One company handles 5% of remittances between the U.S. and Mexico, all using stablecoins. That company is Flix. Tempo's Dan Romero sees Flix as reflecting a broader shift: a new generation of fintech companies choosing stablecoin rails as its primary financial infrastructure from day one. Companies starting today just go stablecoin-first. Flix pairs those rails with a familiar consumer experience: They do remittances between the U.S. and Mexico on WhatsApp. The result is a product customers already understand, powered by new financial infrastructure behind the scenes.
