From multilingual receipt parsing to antibiotic resistance research and offline learning, builders at YC Startup School are putting Gemini and Google AI to work across a range of real-world problems. Google DeepMinds Paige Bailey spoke with founders, engineers, and students about how they're using Gemini Flash, AlphaFold, and Gemma to build, research, and learn. Introducing Gemini 3.7 Flash It is our most intelligent workhorse model yet for coding and agents. It delivers better intelligence for complex workflows all at the introductory price of $0.75/1M input tokens and $3.75/1M output tokens through the end of year. Gemini 3.7 Flash Reduces manual debugging and failed agent loops. Enables agents to reliably execute high-quality code. Generates web and UI layouts with much higher design adherence. Available in Google Antigravity and the Gemini API via Google AI Studio and Android Studio. Learn more in the blog:https://goo.gle/4znXpVF
Explore whats possible with fully offline translation using Gemma 4, Google Antigravity, and a Raspberry Pi 5. The Gemma Translator uses the gemma4-e2b model locally through LiteRT-LM, enabling on-device translation without an internet connection. Google Antigravity assisted with building the application code and deployment setup. The translator runs on a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8GB RAM, paired with a microphone, speaker, and small display for a portable voice translation experience.

What improves model reasoning when everyone starts with the same constraints? In the NVIDIA Nemotron Model Reasoning Challenge, over 5,000 Kagglers set out to answer just that. Running on Google Cloud G4 VMs with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, participants had the performance and infrastructure needed to fine-tune, iterate, and evaluate against benchmarks. At #GoodwoodFOS, we deployed the Coaching Agent natively inside the new Formula E GEN4 car. No remote data centres, and no heavy industrial rigs. Just extreme edge compute decoding microsecond-accurate telemetry entirely on-device using a Raspberry Pi 5 and a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. Swipe to see the architecture: using the Pi as a CAN bridge, running Gemma natively via ML Kit on the Pixel, and safely storing data offline using SQLite.
