Police are hunting for the driver of a black Audi after it was found smashed into a brick wall in Bootle this morning (Monday). Merseyside Police were called to Hawthorne Road in Bootle around 6.20am today, August 10, where an Audi S3 had been abandoned after crashing into a wall near the junction with Trinity Road.
When officers arrived at the scene nobody was "present" and enquiries are ongoing to trace the owner and driver of the vehicle, the force said.
Our Liverpool ECHO photographer attended the scene this morning. Pictures show debris on the pavement after a black Audi smashed into a brick wall. There appears to be damage caused to the front of the vehicle.
