Angry Ginge has been seen offering a brief update to fans after revealing some of the damage caused following a devastating fire at his mum's house.


The YouTuber, who hails from Salford, expressed his heartbreak on Tuesday (June 1) as he shared a video from inside his mum's house, which he says 'burned down' before he made another impressive appearance at Soccer Aid for UNICEF, which took place on Sunday (May 31).


In the video posted to his Instagram Story, the 24-year-old, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was seen wearing a face mask and rubber gloves as he examined the devastating damage to the property.

Speaking in the clip, Angry Ginge said: "So as you can tell, you wouldnt think it, but right now I am in my mums house. Morning of Soccer Aid I get a phone call saying mums house has burned down. This is what we are dealing with now. Obviously, there will be more updates, but at the minute... I mean yeah.

"This isnt even the worst of the worst. We are dealing with this at the minute." He added as he continued to survey the damage: "I will keep you all updated, and I will be live whenever I can go live," before he confirmed his mum would be coming to live with him.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner later returned to his platform, where he boasts 2.3 million followers, to offer an update as he thanked his loyal following for their messages of love and support.

Posting a selfie in which he gave a thumbs up to the camera, he said: "Few things boxed off now! Spoke to the right people! Now we wait and see what happens. Appreciate all the love and messages. Thank you [heart emoji]." In another post, the streamer said: "Gonna try and nip on later to explain some stuff and see you all again so hopefully see u soon! If not, all day tomorrow [heart emoji]."

Angry Ginge addressed the situation after sparking concern with a post he had previously shared to his Instagram Story on Monday (June 1). At the time, he shared a picture of himself giving a thumbs up to the camera as he sported the Soccer Aid England kit and the winning medal from the charity football match over the weekend.

Alongside the image, he wrote: "Just letting u all know i probably won't be live tonight as we have had a major family issue the morning of yesterday So a lot needs sorting out l'll try and be live when I can l appreciate you all and thank u for always supporting me [heart emoji].

"The support last night cheered me up massively of what I needed but atm l need to be with the family and make sure everything is ok. Hopefully get live soon luv you [heart emojis]."
