Coronation Street fans stunned as new Weatherfield romance teased for first time in spoilers

Corrie has revealed details of Maggie Driscoll and Brian Packham's upcoming night together

Coronation Street fans have already been expressing their surprise after a new romance in Weatherfield was teased for the first time in spoilers for upcoming episodes.

According to details released by the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, Ollie Driscoll reveals that hes meeting an influencer who wants to review Speed Daal, and so his dad, Ben Driscoll, decides to go into competition.

He announces that the Rovers are holding a craft beer event. Jude, the influencer, calls at the Rovers and samples the craft beers. Will this ignite a bitter father-son rivalry?

Later, as Ben and Ollie exchange words, theyre distracted by someone on the staircase. When a dishevelled Brian Packham enters, followed by Maggie Driscoll, everyone is in shock. A smitten Brian later quizzes Eva Price on how to woo Maggie.

Eva goes on to assure Maggie that shes really happy for her, but, unaware that Brian has just arrived with flowers, Maggie tells Eva it was an underwhelming night and one not to be repeated. Later, when Maggie calls at the Kabin to apologise, will she put things right?

Following the release of the spoilers on Tuesday (August 18) for what's ahead next week, starting on Monday (August 24), Corrie fans have been seen flocking to social media to have their say on the possible new relationship emerging on the street.
