Drake has rescheduled his upcoming show at the Co Op Live arena. The "One Dance" singer was set to play his third gig in Manchester as part of his $OME $PECIAL $HOWS 4 U tour.
This morning, Ticketmaster confirmed the rescheduling in an email, and on the site. A message from the tickets company stated that the Canadian superstar will be unable to show up on Monday (July 28) due to "unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics".
It goes on to state that the show has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 5.
The full message reads: "Hello. The Event Organiser has been in touch and has asked us to pass on the following information:
"Due to unforeseen ferry schedules and travel logistics, tomorrows performance in Manchester on July 28th has been rescheduled."The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5th, and its set to be an unforgettable night. All tickets remain valid for the new date - we cant wait to see you there!"
Earlier this year, Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, announced plans to play four nights in Manchester as part of his world tour.
It comes after the Hotline Bling hitmaker headlined UK festival Wireless for three days on July 11, 12 and 13 at Finsbury Park, before kicking off his UK tour dates in Birmingham.
Drake's upcoming Manchester gigs come as part of his $OME $PECIAL $HOWS 4 U European tour, which marks his first time performing in the UK for six years - since his 2019 Assassination Vacation Tour.
Following his UK run of shows, the God's Plan rapper will then continue his tour in Europe with visits to Antwerp, Zurich, Cologne, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Milan, Paris, Berlin, Munich, before finishing in Hamburg on September 22 and 23.
R&B-soul artist PARTYNEXTDOOR has been supporting Drake at all of his UK gigs during his $OME $PECIAL $HOWS 4 tour.
