The romance between Helen George and her businessman boyfriend Dan Innes has taken a huge step as they pair are now living together. The Call The Midwife star and her partner are reportedly living in a five-bedroom home together.

TV star Helen, 41 - who has played Trixie Franklin in the BBC's Call The Midwife since 2012 - first went public with her romance with Dan, who works at an estate agent marketing firm, in March last year. She first tagged him in a post following a "martini fuelled" night out at a jazz club.

And the duo swiftly enjoyed a romantic trip away to a boutique hotel days later. And the pair are said to have grown closer together and are now spending their days under one roof.

The Sun has reported that Helen and George moved in together by the end of last year - while a social media snap from December showed the couple beaming in a vehicle together after picking up a Christmas tree. The Sun also reports that the pair are living in a five-bed property - while snaps form last week showed the couple enjoying a night out together at a Cirque du Soleil circus show premiere. The Mirror has contacted a representative of Helen for comment.

Fans of Helen and Call The Midwife will recall she had a brief romance with co-star Olly Rix which came to an end in 2024. Olly, 40, played Matthew Aylward in Call The Midwife from 2021 until 2024 - and the pair are said to have "drifted apart" before agreeing to bring their relationship to an end.

However, the relationship is said to have ended on good terms, despite the pair unfollowing each other on social media. The romance began and ended soon after Helen split from fellow Midwife star Jack Ashton, 42.

Helen and Jack fell for each other in 2016 when the BBC show filmed in South Africa for a Christmas special. They welcomed a daughter named Wren in September 2017, and a second daughter named Lark in November 2021.

However, the couple split in 2023 after drifting apart. The Trixie Franklin star announced the news of the split in a statement shared via social media, which said: "Some months ago, we separated. Our two beautiful girls remain the focus and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter."

Helen was previously married to actor Oliver Boot - with the pair swapping vows in 2011, but divorcing in 2015. She previously said: "Going through a divorce is awful. I'd been asked to do Strictly and, strange as it sounds, I thought it would be like a sort of therapy after my divorce.

"I'd spoken to quite a few people who said how it really helped them through difficult times. You are focused on this one thing, it's an emotional journey. I was so naive that I thought no one would be interested in me, so that was a shock. I soon realised I didn't want all that celebrity stuff."

The actress has previously opened up to The Times about her affinity for her character in the BBC period drama, saying: "She has to make this work. And it's something that I have lived through. I am a single mother who has to be financially responsible for both of my children."

Call The Midwife returned to screens this month with the fifteenth season beginning last Sunday. The current season is believed to set up events for a feature film based on the show.

The BBC previously confirmed their ambitious plans to translate the medical drama to the big screen - with the feature film version expected to take place in 1972 and featuring many of the cast of the current season. And a prequel series is also reportedly being developed by the BBC which will delve into the histories of characters that have featured on the long-running show previously and show them coping with life in London during the Blitz.
