Oasis stars Noel and Liam Gallagher were all smiles as they celebrated together at Wembley as manchester-city-fc>Manchester City lifted the FA Cup trophy.
The brothers watched the action from an executive box as Antoine Semenyos moment of magic 72 minutes in gave City a 1-0 victory over Chelsea. Following a hard fought game, they watched on as Prince Willam handed captain Bernardo Silva the trophy.
City have now won both domestic cup competitions after lifting the League Cup earlier in the season. After the final whistle Silva, who is leaving the club at the end of the season, said: Im very happy.
"Everything about my journey at Man City was fantastic and its really nice to finish this way. Hopefully we still have a small dream that we can fight for the Premier League.
" With it being my last season, its special to give the fans another trophy hopefully not the last one. Since I arrived its been 20, so thats not bad. Im just really happy to have enjoyed all of these moments with my teammates and with the fans.
He also said he hopes manager Pep Guardiola stays: Thats his decision. Its not for me to comment on that. I want the best for him and for Manchester City. Pep being the best manager in the world, if he stays thats obviously better. But its his decision.
Guardiola has now won 20 major trophies at the club. But his work isn't quite done yet, as he turns his attention to the Premier League title race, with his team set to face off against Bournemouth in an away game on Tuesday.
Prince William - a devoted Aston Villa fan - is celebrating his 20th anniversary as President and Patron of the FA. Earlier this week he received a special gift to thank him for his dedication.
He visited England boss Thomas Tuchel and his backroom staff at St George's Park to meet the team behind the team supporting Englands World Cup campaign. William was presented with an England shirt with the number 20 on the back, commemorating his 20 years of dedication. England kick off their World Cup on June 17 against Croatia, in Texas.
City will finish their season playing Aston Villa at home on the final day on Sunday with a 4pm kick off. Meanwhile, Chelsea will face Tottenham on Tuesday in an 8.15pm match before completing their Premier League campaign at Sunderland on Sunday, also at 4pm.
