Claudia Winkleman says she is made up about turning 50 next year because she will look like a glam rocker. The Strictly Come Dancing host and mum of three will celebrate the milestone in January.
She said: I love getting older. I cant wait to be 50.
"Its not that I want time to go fast, but Im absolutely fine with it, and Ill still look the same.
I want to look like Gene Simmons or Alice Cooper, so its not like I want to look young and bouncy and fresh.
She told the Womens Health podcast that her upbringing has shaped her views on appearance.
Claudia said: I was brought up in a house without mirrors, so my mum is a huge believer and my dad in the shell is only that. What I look like, how Ive done my eyeliner, thats not the shiz.
What you look like is the least interesting thing about you, its got to be, because it is all going to fall apart, and I hope Ive passed that on to my kids as well.
Claudia took over from Graham Norton on Radio 2 at weekends in February and will be back on Strictly this year.

She said of the radio show: Following Graham, who I love more than life itself, I just felt really nervous, but Ive loved it.
