Tucked away inside one of the wealthiest pasts of the UK is a leafy countryside town with plenty of charm. Often referred to as Cheshires Golden Triangle, this high end suburban centre is Wilmslow, where actress and broadcaster Denise Welch has spent more than two decades with her artist husband Lincoln Townley.
The pair spent many happy years in their bright, boldly coloured home. Denise moved to the area when her son Matty Healy, the frontman of band The 1975, was just nine years old.
She lived with her then-husband Tim Healy. The pair split in 2012, but remain on good terms, with Tim also living in the area.
The walls were covered in Lincolns art, and Denise often waxed lyrical about how much she loved the location just a mile from the town centre.
However in 2020, the dream came crashing down when a terrifying arson attack at her home caused thousands in damage.
A stalker set fire to their driveway skip and the blaze swept through the garage. Luckily no one was harmed but Denise and Lincoln announced on social media in 2024 that they had decided to move away from their home.
In April of this year, Denise posted to social media about house hunting in France with Lincoln and her former co-star from Loose Women, Carol McGiffin as she teased a move away from the UK.
She penned: "Been house hunting in France near to our much missed friends @mcgiff and @cassola21 . Fab few days with my @lincolntownley #younghubbies #theysaiditwouldntlast"
For now however, the couple still call Cheshire home.
The previous town of Winslow is one of the most sought after and expensive areas to live in the UK, outside of central London with average house prices sitting around 540,000 and 550,000.
The area is known as the Golden Triangle due to the proliferation of footballs, celebrities and business people that live between Alderley Edge, Prestbury, and Wilmslow.
The triangle is, or has been home to a number of A-listers including footballers like Marcus Rashford, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo as well as the Rooneys and many more.
