Jungle veteran Harry Redknapp has been holding his own on Im A Celebrity All Stars, as we draw ever closer to Fridays nail-biting final. But the former football manager, whose first jungle stint in 2018 saw him crowned King of the Jungle, feels one camp member may have gone too far on Tuesday nights explosive episode.

A huge row broke out between Adam Thomas and Jimmy Bullard, after the latter suddenly abandoned the show mid-task saying I'm not feeling it, leaving his partner Adam - who called Jimmy a pr*** - open to elimination too, though campmates ultimately chose to save him.

Harry, 79, says of the drama ,Yeah, I watched it all last night with my wife Sandra. It was mostly Adam, getting upset about different things and messing around with Jimmy Bullard.

Who knows what was going on in Jimmy's head? He just didn't want to do it. It was a shame because, obviously, Adam suffered.

But the former West Ham player believes that the Waterloo Road actors reaction may have been a little OTT. He went a bit crazy, didnt he? Its a shame, because those two were inseparable in the jungle.

He adds, Some people are just more emotional than others. It depends what the persons background is. Some have come from an acting background; some people are more precious than others - some people just get on with it.

Harry, it would seem, falls into the latter camp, and has rarely been seen complaining over gruesome tasks or pitiful portions of food served up round the campfire. He says, I just get on with things. I'm not one for making a fuss about anything much, you know.

For the spritely 79-year-old, his can-do attitude is simply a by-product of his tough, no-nonsense childhood, growing up in Whitechapel.

That's just how I was brought up. We didn't have anything when I was a kid, really. Us East End kids used to go hop-picking in Kent when I was a kid for six weeks, with my nan.

That was our holiday. But hop-picking makes the jungle look like a luxury holiday camp. Your hands would be bleeding by the end of the day.

One of this years most controversial campmates has been David Haye, who sparked fury in camp when he referred to his model girlfriend of 6 years, Sian Osborne, as an ugly duckling.

Despite shocked reactions, he doubled down, saying, Most ugly girls realise theyve gotta have a personality and the banter to tell jokes and s**t, so people overlook the fact that theyre not aesthetically amazing straight away. Its called ugly duckling syndrome.

Harry says of the pro boxer, David really doesn't care; he says what he thinks. I mean, it's his opinion. But I didn't really get that involved with any of the drama, to be honest. I was on the other side of the camp, I didnt even hear it.

I also didnt have my hearing aids with me - I couldn't charge them up in the jungle, so I knew it was going to be a problem for me. I was OK sitting close to people, but I was struggling to catch conversations going on at the other camp.

I did think watching it last night that he came on a bit strong, to be fair, with Adam. But look, hes a big boy - he can take care of himself.

As for who might take the crown on Friday nights live final, Harrys money is on Olympian sprinter Mo Farah. We've not seen much of Mo, but thats all down to the editing. He's great. I could see him winning.

He adds, Craig Charles was good; he could win it. Scarlett Moffatts fantastic; shes a great girl. Gemma Collins was a character, but sadly she's gone. It's difficult, because theyre all nice people - on the whole, we actually all got on OK!
