There is one detail in Jack Whitehall and Roxy Horner's wedding pictures that you might have missed, but "means so much" to thousands of people living in the UK. The love birds tied the knot last weekend in a lavish 250,000 bash held at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire.

Amongst those attending the nuptials were VIP guests James Corden, Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff. They were all suited and booted with the weddings black tie theme, with Jack sporting a traditional black tie suit, flower buttonhole and Christian Louboutin shoes.

As for Roxy, the model with whom Jack shares a daughter, Elsie wore one dress for the ceremony, and another for the afterparty. She was previously seen having her final fittings in Mayfair bridal stop Galia Lahav.

She revealed the dress she wore was actually the first dress she tried on. But there was one detail in the pictures that many people may have missed.

In the professional pictures shared online, Roxy has a small white plastic circle visible on the back of her left arm. The device is a while glucose monitor to monitor her blood sugars for type 1 diabetes.

She was diagnosed just before her 30th birthday in May 2021, after noticing she was drinking much more water than she should. Roxy has been very open about her diagnosis and has been working with Diabetes UK, to use her platform to raise awareness.

By leaving her monitor in view on her wedding pictures, many people have said they feel seen and are glad she is continuing to raise awareness.

One person said: "As the mum to a diabetic child, it means so much to them to see others with the tech on display, not being hidden away. Especially in the media."

A second said: "I was weirdly so self conscious about my sensors for my wedding next year until I saw these photos"

A third said: "I wore mine loud and proud on my wedding day, it's part of me and keeps me safe."

A fourth added: "As a type one myself, it fills my heart that awareness is being raised in such a positive way by type ones but also by those who arent! Thank you."

"Ive done so many wedding brand shoots in my life, but Ive never paid much attention to what I liked," she told Vogue, "When I went to try on dresses for my own wedding, I ended up choosing one of the first I tried on. Well, two"

More details about Roxy and Jack's wedding

Jewellery had a personal touch, with Roxy opting to wear her grandmothers engagement ring and her "something borrowed" followed a family tradition, a bell on her bouquet.

Jack also revealed he suffered a wardrobe malfunction at the wedding, confessing: "I squatted down to pick up Elsie and my trousers split, my whole ass was hanging out."

Thankfully for Jack, all eyes were on Elsie - who was one of the three flower girls - and looked adorable in a white dress, inspired by her mum Roxy's own wedding look.

There were eight bridesmaids, who all wore different style gold dresses. Roxy's bridal party included Jack's sister Molly, fellow models Sophie Longford and Milly Slinger were all in attendance at the event.

For their ceremony, which was described as a "fairytale wedding", Jack and Roxy were keen to keep that theme.

"I wanted some Disney music because I love Disney. They played Beauty and the Beast, which I felt was a bit on the nose," Jack said.

The theme continued, with Roxys sister, Rihanna, reading a piece from Winnie The Pooh. Elsewhere, Tally Gilbert, one of Jack's oldest friends from Pinky Studio, "read a personalised poem she had written for us.

"My dads best friend, Neil Stuke, whos a classically trained actor, performed a Shakespearean sonnet."

The pair's first dance was to Michael Jacksons Rock With You', but in a misunderstanding, neither of the pair told the band they wanted a slowed down version. Roxy said: "He told me to follow his lead so I did."

For the couple, it was all about the details - and they enjoyed an eight tier cake which couldn't be cut by them solo so they both had to come together to cut the cake.

When Roxy walked down the aisle, preceded by their daughter Elsie, it was revealed Jack was crying as he prepared to tie the knot to his bride.

Roxys father gave a heartfelt speech that had everyone crying but Jack's brother Barnaby "threw Jack under the bus" with his speech as 'revenge' for what he had done at his wedding.
