Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell's baby announcement was overshadowed by his famous sister as she made her return to social media.

Zoella was an original influencer and a huge name in the UK at the peak of her fame. She had 11million followers as well as lucrative deals for everything from beauty and homeware products, to releasing her own book.

However, Zoe Sugg eventually took a step back from her high profile life after facing a few controversies and wanting more time to focus on her children when she became a mum. Her brother, Joe, had often filmed alongside Zoe and had become somewhat successful in his own right.

However, when he appeared on Strictly in 2018 he was very quickly offered more mainstream opportunities, which included appearing on Great British Bake Off, and taking on a role in BBC drama The Syndicate. Now insiders have claimed that Zoe made her surprising return to youTube last week, just hours before Joe and Strictly professional dancer Dianne announced that they were expecting their first child, a baby boy, because she wanted to reignite her own career.

A source told The Sun, "Zoe was always the bigger star in the family but a few years ago things changed. Once Joe did Strictly and got into a relationship with Dianne, he became the most well known and around the same time Zoe took a step back to have her two children.

"When she returned to YouTube over the weekend everyone was very surprised - even more so because it coincided with Joe and Diannes baby announcement.

"When he announced he was having a boy - fans were really excited but there was some chatter that Zoe might be feeling a bit put out by it and that her own video would sabotage his news.

Fans watching Zoes video - titled I'm Back! Where Have I Been? - also commented to suggest that she may be making a new upload, bc of the Joe news?

Zoe commented on her brothers announcement writing, "The best news everrrrrr!! Can't wait to be an auntie again and meet him!! His big cousins are going to take the BEST care of him xxx."

But her tone in her own video was a little less enthusiastic, as she suggested to her fans that she didnt fit in anymore.

As she spoke into the camera Zoe explained to her viewers, Im not doing anything groundbreaking. Do people still want to watch my content? Is there anything left?

She added that she had taken time away from socials during the summer as her eldest daughter, Ottilie, prepared to start school. She also suggested, I just feel like a toe, in the video where she sought some support from her followers.
