JoJo Siwa has gotten candid about her relationship with Chris Hughes - whom she met on Celebrity Big Brother four months ago.

The 22-year-old singer and the 32-year-old presenter and Love Island star met while Siwa was still in a relationship with non-binary Australian Kath Ebbs, 27. Despite the controversy, she and Hughes have been going strong ever since, though Siwa has now opened up about some of the difficulties theyve recently faced in their relationship.

Following the end of CBB, JoJo broke things off with Kath, and soon after, during a trip to Mexico, she and Chris admitted their romantic feelings for one another.

The Dance Moms star went on to address public speculation about her relationship with Hughes, admitting that even she understands why some people might think it's too good to be true. Speaking candidly, the star described their connection as magic and insisted that, despite what some might believe, their romance is very real.

Its funny, a lot of people think that its fake. And I can see where people would go: Ahh, its too good to be true. Thats too perfect. No, trust me, I agree with them. It is too perfect. Its magic. But its real, she shared in an interview with The Sun.

So the best thing to do is just sit back and laugh, because its so obviously not fake. Its not even worth fighting it.

The comments come as JoJos ex, Ebbs, shared a statement on social media while debuting their new partner. In a post that seemingly appeared as a jab at JoJo, Kath wrote: Hope this one doesnt cheat on me. JoJo later addressed the remark, saying, Its interesting... Its funny to see what people do for attention.

While JoJo is making it clear that negative comments about her sexuality and relationship don't personally upset her, she worries about their impact on younger people who may be struggling with their own identities.

What people say doesnt affect me, she said, But it does affect people who are younger than me and will go through something similar.

You cannot control in this world who you love. My first love was a woman, and that was what it was. I didnt try to stop that; why would I try to stop this?

JoJo admits that while the criticism hasnt been easy, its had an unexpected effect on her relationship with Chris - its drawn them even closer, so much so that shes even planning their wedding.

We both come from a place where people talk so negatively about us, but we just let them. Its not worth biting back. We have that in common. But it is tough, she admitted.

I love how my family loves him. Its one of my favourite things. Ive always wanted that.

Sharing details around their big day, she gushed, A wedding is a two-person thing. So we would have to decide what it looks like. But I do know that I want it to have a baby-blue colour scheme and I need to help Chris make the playlist.

Otherwise, itll be all songs I dont know! He likes to educate me on music. He loves The 1975 and all these boy bands, but I dont know any of them as they are British. Give me some NSYNC or Backstreet Boys!
