Katie Price and former manager Claire Powell end 'feud' with telling comments

Katie Price and Claire Powell have seemingly called a truce on any feud after 17 years of not speaking as they were seen laughing and smiling at an awards ceremony

Katie Price is building bridges with her former manager after a 17-year rift. The former glamour model, 48, and her ex-close pal Claire Powell cut ties after Katie's relationship break down with Peter Andre. It left the former pals snubbing each other for almost two decades.

But the pair stunned followers after posing for pictures recently looking very much like they had made up. The duo were seen sitting close and sharing a laugh over the weekend.

In the shock move, they looked like they were making up for lost time as they attended the UK Hair and Beauty Awards in Manchester. It marked the first time they had been seen together in public since 2009.

Claire, who has managed Katie's ex Peter for 32 years, revealed after Katie's I'm A Celeb stint, she was asked to represent the star too. Despite working to bring the Katie Price brand "longevity", the relationship suffered when Claire opted to stay on Peter's side following the marriage breakdown.

She explained that Peter was "devastated" at the time, stopping his work commitments. But she felt Katie "handled the situation very differently".

Claire told The Sun: "Then me and my partner, my sons dad, with the stress of it all, split up a few months later. I lost just as much as what everyone else did, but everyone was jumping on this bandwagon and that really shouldnt have happened.

The tension continued to grow over the years, despite Claire now managing Katie and Peter's children, Junior and Princess. Katie had previously shared rather blunt thoughts on Claire after the fallout, but it's said the pair have been back on speaking terms for almost a year.

Claire commented to the publication how it was good that Katie and Peter have been able to find an amicable relationship recently and confessed: "I really hope that shes getting herself into a good place.

"But we have met up behind the scenes and the kids are really happy about that as well."

Claire admitted it seemed as though everyone just wants peace now and to "move on" from the past. Katie is said to have walked in to the event and immediately hugged her former PR. She revealed the duo have had a number of dinner dates and intend to move on.

"Claire is an amazing manager and shes doing the best to guide my kids and I will always be grateful for that," Katie told The Sun.

At the ceremony, Katie seemed to be in full flirty mode. And onlookers told the Mirror Katie went further than just flirting with Jake Quickenden.

On the stage, Katie asked Jake: "Am I your type or not?" The flustered This Morning star replied: Youre a beautiful lady.

But our source claimed it appeared Katie was more than just lightly flirting. Our source says: Katie was flirting a lot with Jake and jokingly propositioning him.
