Molly Smith and Tom Clare revealed they want to show their future children their Love Island love story - but only once they are old enough.
The couple got together on the spin-off of the ITV2 dating series, filmed in South Africa in 2024, after previously appearing on different seasons of the original programme - Molly, 31, was a contestant on the sixth, while Tom, 26, was on the ninth.
They were crowned winners and confirmed their engagement last year - before they were announced as the hosts for the NearlyWeds podcast, replacing Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo.
Speaking to the Mirror ahead of their Spanish nuptials on August 22, the bride shared her excitement at letting their future kids see how theyve documented the process so far.
When asked if they would want to show them their Love Island love story, Tom was thrilled at the prospect, while Mollys face suggested a very different answer.
Yes! Look at your daddy, he was shredded back then, now he's got a dad bod, he joked. I'd be like, Look at your daddy, his moves in the heart rate challenge."
Molly vowed: That's one of the episodes that I would be like, No, absolutely no chance. That's blocked off the TV. Don't be watching that. I'd have to make sure that they were of age.
It's nice for them to see how we met, I guess, but that's it. Maybe we could just play them the one episode of the date.
No, we have to show them all the highs and lows, everything, the groom declared, sharing his excitement at settling down on the sofa with them for a watch party.
He quipped: They would find it, 100%. We're better off getting it into them early, when they're five or six, when they can just understand, that's when we'll put it on.
Before that, they have the matter of their wedding in Spain to get through. Molly and Tom said their vows last month in a legal ceremony, before jetting loved ones to Europe for a bigger celebration later this month.
Touching on their plans, Molly confessed that she had found the process very stressful but, despite the overwhelming logistics, noted that they had become much closer.
We have had a few bickers, obviously, I think that's going to happen, it's stressful, she continued. But the bickers are never long. The minute we finish bickering, 10 minutes later we're absolutely fine. So, we've learned to overcome and put stuff to bed a lot quicker than maybe we might have in the past.
They admitted that their first ceremony ended up being a lot wilder than they anticipated, and predict that the upcoming do will be a bit more intimate before descending into carnage in the evening.
On the day, the lovebirds will be joined by their friends, family and a string of their fellow co-stars - with Sophie Piper, Josh Ritchie, Mitch Taylor and Casey OGorman on the guestlist, and the latter is serving as Toms best man.
Love Island will also play a huge part in the celebrations, as the couple are tying the knot in Spain - the home of the main series - before they plan to return to South Africa on their honeymoon.
Lots of people were asking us for what we want for wedding gifts, Tom said. We were like, we don't want anything. But Molly's mum and dad didn't listen to that entirely [and] booked us a safari for South Africa, which is something we've always wanted, to go back to South Africa.
It's so special to us to go back there and do that, making memories like that, money can't buy stuff like that Without going on that show, we wouldn't be here now.
Fans watched the pair walk into the villa separately in 2024, where they quickly fell in love - they left the show as winners, and later got engaged in Dubai
Following this, they took over hosting duties for NearlyWeds, and hope to do a lot more once their wedding is done and dusted.
We would love to continue it because we just love it so much, Molly added. We love having all the guests on, we love hearing from everyone, we love just knowing that we can speak freely.
We've got something documented that we can always look back on and show our future kids, This was us when we were planning it. So, it's actually a really lovely way of documenting your life, in a way.
NearlyWeds With Molly And Tom is available now on YouTube and all podcast platforms, new episodes every Tuesday.
