Olivia Atwood, Kelly Osbourne and Maya Jama were among the celebrities preparing for the 2026 BRIT Awards on Saturday evening.

In the hours leading up to the glittering ceremony, stars began their transformation ahead of their red carpet moments. Olivia shared a peek at her intense gym session on Instagram, striking a pose in a low-cut sports bra.

The Brit Awards ceremony takes place tonight at its new home, Co-op Live in Manchester and will be broadcast live on ITV, ITVX from 8:15pm and ITVS YouTube (UK) and BRITs YouTube (globally) from 8:45pm.

Award-winning comedian and writer Jack Whitehall returns to host the show, and the winners of each category will each take home the iconic BRITs trophy, this year conceptualised and designed by internationally acclaimed and Manchester-born designer Matthew Williamson.

Kelly, whose legendary father Ozzy Osbourne is receiving the BRITs Lifetime Achievement award, posted a picture from the makeup chair in her luxurious hotel suite. "Time to get with the #GlamFam and get ready for the @brit.awards!"

Love Island host Maya ensured she squeezed in her regular exercise routine, snapping a bikini photo before diving in for a quick dip. "Brits dayyyy. What a coincidence the Brits move to Manchester when I do", she wrote.

Jamie Laing uploaded a picture of his wife Sophie Habboo having her hair and makeup styled before their exciting evening out. Radio presenter Vick Hope, 36, applied a face mask to ensure her skin looked radiant under the cameras before her glam team's arrival.

The prestigious BRIT Awards ceremony is set for a significant shake-up, with a landmark 70 per cent of this year's nominations going to female or non-binary artists. Leading the charge are rising star Lola Young and soulful singer Olivia Dean, both picking up five nominations apiece. Hot on their heels is comeback queen Lily Allen, who has earned three nods for her widely praised fifth studio album, West End Girl.

The 40 year old singer drew on the painful breakdown of her marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, and his alleged infidelities during their time together, as the inspiration behind the record. Allen will lock horns with both Young and Dean in the coveted Artist Of The Year category, whilst also battling it out for Album Of The Year and Pop Act.

Lola, 24, is additionally shortlisted for Breakthrough Artist and Alternative/Rock Act, though whether she will grace the ceremony in person remains uncertain. Following the announcement, she gushed: "Five BRIT nominations, how is this even possible? I've had this dream a thousand times, so I'm slightly convinced that my alarm clock is about to wake me up. Seriously, this means so much to me. I am so grateful for this moment and to be nominated alongside the incredible other nominees."

Olivia, 26, made history by becoming the first woman since Adele in 2021 to simultaneously top both the UK singles and albums charts, achieving the feat with her track Man I Need and album The Art Of Loving, both released in 2025.

She has been nominated across five categories. and will be performing at the Award ceremony. '

"To go from being a student of The BRIT School in the crowd to being a performer 10 years later is really crazy, and I'm so excited to see everyone in Manchester," the singer shared in January.

Elsewhere, British rapper Dave has been recognised in three categories: Artist Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act. The 27 year old released his third studio album, The Boy Who Played The Harp, in 2025 and has since become the first British rap artist to debut three albums at number one in the UK's official chart.

Raye has been recognised in just one category this year, after scooping a record-breaking six awards last year. The singer, 28, claimed the first award of the evening, Song of the Year for her smash hit Escapism ft 070 Shake, before also walking away with the R&B Act gong and Best New Artist. She currently holds the record for the most BRIT Awards won at a single ceremony, a record which previously stood at four, jointly held by Blur in 1995, Adele in 2016, and Harry Styles in 2023.

Raye has also been announced as the final act to perform at this year's BRIT Awards. The singer, whose real name is Rachel Keen, will grace the stage during the glittering spectacular. Speaking ahead of her performance, Raye said: "We are so grateful to the BRIT Awards for having us back on their stage. Me and the band are very excited. Lots of love, Raye."
