Taylor Swift's make-up artist reveals exact NARS lipstick she's 'worn for years'

The singer's make-up artist revealed one of her favourite lipstick shades, and it turns out she's been wearing the stunning colour for years

Taylor Swift's make-up artist has revealed the gorgeous lipstick the singer wore at the MTV VMAs and it turns out she's loved the shade for years.

Beauty guru Lorrie Turk dished the singer's secrets in a series of posts on her Instagram Stories. "So many people asking about this lipstick that Taylor wears all the time," she penned in her posts, which included a photo from the VMAs. "It's NARS Morocco Lipstick. She's worn it for years."

Keen to help fans, the make-up artist also shared a photo of the exact lipstick, easily recognisable thanks to its distinctive red packaging.

In bad news for Swifties, the singer's favourite shade is already out of stock. 'Morocco', which is described as a 'warm cinnamon' shade by NARS, is currently unavailable on the brand's website, but it usually retails for 25.50.

NARS' Air Matte Lip Color is also out of stock in Taylor's favourite shade. But fans hoping to try the Taylor-approved formula in a different shade can get their hands on the lipstick in shades 'Heat Wave' and 'Trans Siberian'; meanwhile, the matte lip color is currently available in plenty more shades, and both products are on sale.

Elsewhere, fans looking to recreate Taylor's iconic red lips should keep an eye out for Pat McGrath lipstick re-stocks. It's understood Taylor favours the brand's red hues, specifically LiquiLust Legendary Wear Matte Lipstick in Elson 4, but the lipsticks can be difficult to get a hold of.

Available for 36, there are quite a few colour options if you're shopping Pat McGrath's MatteTrance Lipsticks range, though, so you could be in luck if you're not looking for an exact match. As Taylor sings in 'Style', it's all about that 'red lip classic' look.
