Josie Gibson has shown off the results of her surgery. The This Morning presenter, 41 recently had to undergo an operation following a painful health battle and she has now shown the aftermath.
The star, who shot to fame when she won Big Brother in 2011 and has also appeared on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, took to Instagram to post an advert for a fashion company, as she posed in an array of sleeveless dresses.
In the caption of the post, Josie shouted out several brands and said she was "showing off my new arms," as fans rushed to the comments section to compliment her.
One fan said: "You looking stunning Josie always have but your confidence has gone up ten fold," whilst another wrote: "Josie you look amazing," and a third said: "You are so beautiful Josie, both inside and out. Love how down to earth you are xxx"
Josie previously explained that she had been suffering from lipoedema, and underwent a 7,000 surgery to deal with the "painful" condition, which is a connective adipose tissue disorder that mostly affects women. Unlike regular body fat, this abnormal accumulation cannot be shifted through exercise or diet alone.
As Josie revealed when she received her diagnosis: "I said to them, 'I train, I don't feel like I overeat, I'm fit and healthy'. They said you could train seven days a week but you don't get rid of lipoedema fat like that. It's like congealed fat."
In January she opened up further about the condition. Speaking to This Morning co-stars Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about the condition, she said: "Ive been to see a lot of experts Ive been to Berlin to see one, Ive seen three in London.
"And basically they said its when your body holds onto fat differently. I said, I train, I dont feel like I overeat, Im fit and healthy. They said, you can train seven days a week you wont get rid of lipedema fat like that'."
She has since had liposuction and an arm lift. And the surgeries aren't the only time she has been under the knife in recent years. Josie underwent surgery last September on her calves.
At the time, she explained: "What they do is theyve got this stuff for lipoedema now where they do this lipo treatment and they burn your skin on the inside so your skin tightens together again. Ive only done my calves and its split into sections, you cant do it all at once. But its a lot of money each time, I think I paid over 7,000 for just my calves." Prior to that, Josie revealed that she had lost five stone in six months.
In her book, 'The Josie Gibson Diet', she details the four fundamental steps she followed, stating: "I didn't get a gastric bypass; I got off my big a**e, moved more, ate less, and educated myself on what I was stuffing into my body."
Speaking to the Mirror, Josie recognised that being overly strict proved unsustainable. She admitted that permitting herself some leeway was crucial for genuinely enjoying her life.
She explained: "So I did the six-day plan on Do The Unthinkable, which entitled me to one day off. Now on that one day off, I had one cheat meal - I didn't go crazy and drink 10 bottles of wine and binge all day on food and chocolate and all the naughty things I haven't been having, I just had my one cheat and that was
