Stone Roses legend Gary 'Mani' Mounfield's home has gone on the market for over 1million after his brother-in-law said it was 'time to move on'. The five-bedroom property near Heaton Moor, Stockport, Greater Manchester, once lived in by the famous bassist and his family, has been put up for sale.

Mani and his wife Imelda moved into in the semi-detached property in 2014 with their twin sons, and lived there until their deaths.

Imelda passed away after a battle with cancer in 2023, aged 50, and Mani died almost two years later in November 2025 at the age of 63.

According to estate agents John Mellor, the Victorian home, which has three bathrooms, "oozes with the charm and character of its era" while having "modern thinking improvements" such as en-suite bathrooms, a utility area, double glazing and central heating.
