Chappell Roan has announced a two night event to fundraise for trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. The two-night benefit is set to take place in October at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Taking to Instagram, Chappell introduced the event as The Super Graphic Spectacular and revealed that it would be filled with "drag, dance, guests, surprises, and funnnn" as well as a performance from the Midwest Princess herself.
Chappell confirmed that proceeds from the shows will go to the Midwest Princess Project, the charity founded by Roan last year to support trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. Organisations based in Los Angeles that work with those communities will also be in attendance to share information and resources.
"To help get rid of bots and scalpers, were using Fair AXS again because I want real fans to get tickets," Chappell added in her announcement. "From now until Tuesday, August 11 at 8:59pm PT, you can register for a chance to buy tickets to these shows.
"We have priced the tickets higher than usual for charity <3 You can learn more about the shows at supergraphicspectacular.com. See you there!!" You can sign up for tickets here, with successful applicants due to receive further information between August 17 and 19.
According to the website, the event marks one full year of impact since The Midwest Princess Projects inception, and all net proceeds will be donated to power the next chapter of the organizations work. So far, the Midwest Princess Project has raised over $800,000 (592,420), "and has uplifted over 60 organisations working to make the world healthier, happier, and safer for LGBTQ+ people everywhere."
Chappell has always been vocal in her support of the trans community. While at the Grammy's in 2025, she said: "Its brutal right now, but trans people have always existed, and they will forever exist. And they will never, no matter what happens, take trans joy away, and that has to be protected more than anything because I would not be here without trans girls.
