Strictly Come Dancing legend Anton Du Beke is set to swap the glamorous ballroom for the greenhouse later this month.

The popular TV judge, 59, will headline the iconic Southport Flower Show on Saturday, August 22. Fans of the This Morning and Lorraine star will be lining up to catch a glimpse of the King of Ballroom, who will be putting on two exclusive Q&A sessions at the Garden Theatre during the massive summer spectacle.

And he won't be the only TV favourite descending on the Merseyside coast.

The star-studded bash will also feature a powerhouse lineup of screen icons, including Judge Rinder star Rob Rinder, national treasure Su Pollard, ITV Daytime culinary wizard Phil Vickery, and Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown.

Confirming the massive booking, Southport Flower Show general manager Alan Adams revealed excitement is already through the roof. He said: "Anton opened the show back in 2014. He was a real hit back then and we cant wait for our visitors to meet him again and enjoy his two Q&As on the day.

"Your ticket price into the show includes entry into the Garden Theatre to see himbut it's going to be a full house, so come early if you want a good spot!"

The dad-of-two, who first wowed audiences as a Strictly pro back in 2004 before taking a coveted seat on the judging panel alongside Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse, has built a massive empire outside of dance.

From topping the Sunday Times bestseller list with his 1930s-inspired novels to belting out swing classics on stage, the TV favorite is guaranteed to bring pure showman charm to the showgrounds.

The biggest independent flower show in the country is taking over the coastal town from Thursday, August 20 to Sunday, August 23, packing in an unbeatable mix of showbiz glamour, green-fingered masterclasses, and family fun.

The jam-packed weekend will feature appearances from BBC Gardeners World favourites Adam Frost, Arit Anderson, and Joe Swift, Springwatch hosts Iolo Williams and Megan McCubbin, Bake Off star Briony May Williams, fitness icon Mr Motivator, and CBeebies legends Andy Day and Justin Fletcher.
