Woman wears wedding dress to Morrisons but gets totally unexpected reaction

A woman decided to wear her wedding dress to Morrisons, because wedding dresses are too expensive and gorgeous to wear them just once, but the reaction was unexpected

What would you do if you saw someone wearing something completely out of the ordinary when you were trying to do your weekly food shop? Would you stop and stare, subtly sneak glances, or would you not be bothered in the slightest? That's exactly what one woman decided to do when she donned something extra special at her local supermarket, and the reaction was completely unexpected. In fact, people barely gave her a second look.

This may be because people didn't want to be rude by staring at her, and people may have been more gobsmacked if she were wearing her pyjamas, so they just let her get on with it.

Internet personalities Caitlin and Leah shared a photo of Caitlin in her wedding dress in Morrisons, writing: "Imagine walking into Morrisons to grab your weekly food shop and seeing this.

"Would your first thought be that I just got married was about to get married or had simply decided life was too short to save the dress for one day?"

Caitlin continued: "The truth is much simpler, I thought YOLO. I put on my wedding dress for a video, looked in the mirror, and thought, 'Im going out like this'.

"Life doesnt always have to make sense. Sometimes the most unexpected moments are the ones that make people smile.

"So what would honestly go through your head if you saw this in the supermarket? Honest answers only".

But in the background of the photograph she shared, nobody was looking in her direction, as they were just busy trying to get all their ingredients together for the recipes they'd planned for the week.

In the comments, people shared their honest thoughts, pointing out initially that she looked "beautiful" in the dress.

Someone wrote: "First thing that would come to my head is how the bottom of the dress is gonna be touching the shop's dirty floor."

A second joked: "The story I would create in my head revolves entirely around whats in the basket. If it contains alcohol, ice cream, and a microwave meal for one, I imagine its a wedding gone wrong. On the other hand, if there are paper straws, napkins, cocktail sticks, or some nibbles, I think you might be having a last-minute shopping emergency!"

A third penned: "Honestly, I'd probably have a little chuckle to myself and wonder if you'd left them hanging and wandered off!

"Absolutely agree that it's a shame to only wear it once, but you know full well you're going to cause some strong reactions/quizzical looks from people going to the supermarket dressed like that!"

A fourth added: "I'd think 'Well, that's unusual. Gorgeous dress though,' and carry on with my shopping while occasionally stealing glances at the pretty dress".
