Aldi shoppers looking to spruce up their skincare routine on a budget have been raving about two products that some claim "do wonders" for under 6 each. Many have compared them to something much more expensive, leading fans to "stock up" during the latest return to shelves.
Bargain-hunting mum Georgia claimed she had to cut back on her skincare routine after her wages fell when she went on maternity pay. Ditching major brands for more affordable ones, she raved about one of Aldi's Lacura products that is coming back to stores soon.
In a previous video posted to TikTok (@Coffeechaosandcardiox), Georgia showed that she had "stocked up" on 28 packs of the Pronight skincare when it was last released in stores as a SpecialBuy. The video had the caption: "Maternity pay doesn't cover my Este Lauder skincare addition, so these came just in time."
Coming to the middle aisles of all Aldi stores this weekend (March 1), shoppers can get the Lacura ProNight Advanced Face Serum (5.99, 30ml). The formula is "enriched with copper peptides, hyaluronic acid, and allantoin" and designed to be an "all-in-one recovery complex" that locks in moisture to "leave skin smooth and radiant".
There is also a ProNight Plus Face Cream (5.99, 50ml) coming to stores on the same day. Aldi claims that this beauty cream helps "intensely hydrate and rejuvenate" dry skin, "reduce fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles and signs of ageing".
This formula contains "moisture-binding" ingredients such as shea butter, hyaluronic acid, and laminaria ochroleuca extract. Both of these 6 options were compared to pricer versions of products sold by the luxury brand Este Lauder.
Shoppers can save up to 60 by switching to these supermarket alternatives. The similar Advanced Night Repair Serum from the major American brand is available at Selfridges for 65, and the Advanced Night Repair Overnight Treatment is available directly from the brand itself for 71.20, down from 89.
People were raving about the Aldi version in Georgia's video, with one claiming: "I swear by them! This is why I have bought so many"
Another put: "This did wonders for my skin!" A third wrote: "This stuff is amazing. I love my Este Lauder too, but this is very good!"
Returning items will be available in stores as part of the upcoming SpecialBuy refresh on Sunday, March 1. The collection of items will focus on beauty and Mother's Day. Items include skincare and makeup from 3.49, such as microfilling pens, concealer, blush and lip oil.
The Mother's Day items include a range of candles, flowers, soft toys, homeware and more. To see everything coming up in Aldi's SPecialBuy section before it hits stores, go to the website here.
