Amanda Holden turned heads at the L'Oral Colour Trophy final at London's O2 on Sunday evening, but it wasn't just her outfit that caught attention. The TV presenter stepped out with impossibly glossy, mirror-like lengths that looked healthier than ever, proving that ultra-shiny hair is still one of this year's biggest beauty trends.

The annual event, now celebrating its 70th year, honours the UK's top hairdressing talent and showcased everything from bold colour transformations to the sleek, glass-like finishes currently dominating salon chairs.

And thanks to backstage snaps posted by the 55-year-old, we can see the secrets behind her polished style. Using L'Oral Professionnel's Flex range, including the Techni.Art Liss Control cream an 18 smoothing cream designed to tame frizz, boost shine and leave hair feeling silky without weighing it down Amanda managed to achieve the glossy hair of our dreams.

If you haven't heard of the Liss Control cream before, it's a staple for many wanting the expensive-looking, glossy finish that's taken over social media, with shoppers calling it a product they "can't live without" for keeping flyaways at bay while adding mirror-like shine.
