'I tightened my face without injections using an effective beauty tool - it's below 90'

Editor Harriet Morphy-Morris tested the tiny face tool which gave a lift to her face, and helped with stubborn scarring.

Magnitone Pebble (1)

Hyaluronic skin boosters, salmon sperm injections, and Botox are all well-known treatments for tightening the face, boosting radiance, and helping with fine lines, but all have one thing in common - theyre injectables. Anyone looking for a non-invasive treatment, Ive been testing out an alternative, and my jawline is looking tighter than ever.

Ive ditched the thought of Botox for another Magnitone beauty tool, adding to my skincare alongside the LiftOff and Tri Colour LED Mask that are already staples in my bathroom cupboard, as Ive reviewed before. Using it for just 10 minutes a day, Ive been putting this teeny tiny device to the test for nearly eight weeks, and the results are surprising.

Less inflamed acne scars, tighter skin around the jawline and a visible brightness when Im not wearing makeup. The Pebble Pro lifts, sculpts, and helps define facial features, using a mix of microcurrent and LED to target puffiness, dullness, and help boost collagen.

Its designed to be used every day, with a minimal time of just 10 minutes a day. This has made it much easier to add to my existing skincare routine. The standout perk is size, as it can be easily bundled into a toiletry bag on holiday or nights away - something the Magnitone Lift Off Toning device cant do as well.

Another favourite feature is the mix between LED and the electrical currents, as you can mix between the two. The low-level electrical pulses are what help sculpt the face, which should be used with the conductive face gel. Over the last nearly eight weeks, I have seen this start to sculpt my jaw area.

Pebble Pro Toning Device
Product Description

The LED and microcurrent device helps tone the face, tighten skin, and boost circulation. A non invasive option for skincare fans who don't want to use injectables like botox and skin boosters.

The LED is for skincare, as the Pebble has a 460nm blue light, which helps diminish pores and smooth the skin. Its 660nm red light is what helps boost circulation and give a healthy-looking glow. Ive not seen a glowy difference in my skin yet, but I have noticed a huge improvement after using the blue light.

I get hormonal acne around my chin and jawline, and this blue light has helped reduce the look of scars, and my monthly spots are so much less angry. Its also suitable for sensitive skin, as you may see in images, I get eczema, which has been fine using the device, but as long as the skin isnt open or broken.

The Pebble should be glided over the face, in an upwards motion, but avoiding the immediate eye area. I go up to just above my cheekbone, but no closer to the eye. However, the Pebble is not as snug over the contours of the face as the LiftOff Microcurrent Facial Device, which was an obvious downside on my first use.

This fellow Magnitone Device can be bought from LookFantastic for 90, and while it is bigger, so not as good for travelling, its gua sha-like design makes it fit over cheekbones better.

Other skincare beauty tools investing in - tried and tested by our team

Id recommend the small Pebble Pro for beginners, as it has a versatile mix of LED and microcurrent settings and has the perk of being tiny for travelling. After using it for weeks, I can say it improves puffiness, inflammation, and helps with pores.

There are other alternatives out there, and some shoppers may want to invest in a higher-end device. For face depuffing, another option is the TheraFace Depuffing Wand, which is 129, and uses hot and cold treatments.

Beauty Editor Laura Mulley has tried it out for herself, calling it a refreshing alternative to injectables. She said: I could definitely see an improvement in my eye area: it looked brighter, fresher and less tired.

If you struggle with puffy eyes, hay fever symptoms, hot flashes or even migraines, this might just be a godsend this summer.

Another option is the Lustre Solo, now on sale for 50. Its a blue light device that helps minimise mild to moderate acne. As the blue light setting on the Pebble Pro worked so well with my acne scars and inflammation, Im really intrigued by this alternative product, as the light is said to help target bacteria that cause some types of acne.

Its another one our wider team has reviewed too, with Laura calling it an unusual device, which got rid of her breakouts in a week. As she told The Mirror: I'm notoriously bad at sticking with skin tools for long enough to see results, so I'm not going to pretend that I used this every night.

I'd say about three times a week, for 2-3 weeks, and afterwards I noticed a real change in my skin. I definitely had fewer spots than normal, and the ones I did still have were less angry and inflamed.
