Aldi is bringing out a five-in-one gadget this week that could be a budget-friendly alternative to similar models by Dyson. Another batch of Special Buy deals is coming to the Middle Aisle in stores across the UK on Sunday, August 23.

The new range features 'Student Bedroom' items, as many students are set to return to university or start a brand new academic year away from home. One standout item from the collection is the Ambiano Hot Air Multistyler, which costs 24.99 and has features similar to a pricier Dyson model.

The supermarket's Ambiano hair tool has aesthetic similarities to premium Dyson styling tools, such as the Dyson Airwrap. It features a sleek, compact design that at a glance could be mistaken for the luxury brand, but at a fraction of the cost.

John Lewis is selling the Dyson Airwrap Multi Styler, in 'velvet red', for 379 - the same price as Currys. But by opting for Aldi's more affordable version, shoppers could save 100s. The product description reads: "A faster, easier way to achieve long-lasting curls with no heat damage. Dry, curl, wave, smooth, volumise and hide flyaways."

Despite its budget-friendly pricing, Aldi's beauty tool includes advanced features designed to help achieve 'smoother', 'salon-style blowouts' at home. It shares a heated airflow design with the cult favourite, aimed to help minimise static electricity and tame flyaways while drying.

It offers multiple heat and speed settings, said to suit different hair types and custom styling routines. It also comes with attachments such as a concentrator nozzle and a diffuser.

On Aldi's website, it says: "Salon-worthy styling without the salon appointment. This hot air multi-styler dries, smooths, curls, and adds volume, making every day a good hair day.

"Suitable for home and travel (includes storage bag). Includes 5-in-1 Multistyler, Hair dryer, Brush, Round Brush and Curling attachments. Three-year warranty. Choose from Beige or Purple designs."

It is important to remember that, because it is a Specialbuys product, it will only be available while stocks last. Aldi says: "To see exactly what's on offer, head to the middle aisle."

The Aldi Hot Air Multistyler has appeared in stores before. Users on social media platforms have previously claimed that while the Aldi styler successfully smooths and creates loose shapes, the curls may drop out faster than those made with a genuine Airwrap, and to some, the attachments can feel less refined to handle.
