A sell-out serum that shoppers have said hides all those little imperfections and boosts confidence to start wearing my shorts again has been restocked at Marks and Spencer. The Prai Ageless Leg Perfecting Serum sold out shortly after launching a few months ago, but is back in stock and seemingly flying off the shelves as the warm weather continues.
The PRAI Ageless Leg Perfecting Serum, priced at 30 , has quickly become a favourite thanks to its ability to create an instant blurring effect, deliver a sheer wash of colour while also delivering longer-term skincare benefits.
The launch comes after PRAI discovered that many women were actively avoiding baring their legs due to a range of skin concerns. Thread veins, bruising, dry skin, uneven tone or simply a lack of confidence were among the factors leading shoppers to keep their legs covered, despite the five recent heatwaves.

Hyaluronic acid provides a boost of hydration, helping to soften dry, rough patches, while antioxidant-rich grape seed oil nourishes the skin and helps protect it against environmental stressors. And unlike traditional fake tan, it uses a temporary, tinted formula that washes away in the shower, meaning there's no worrying about streaks, patchiness or committing to the maintenance that comes with regular tanning.
The most similar product on the market is the This Works perfect legs skin miracle, which comes in more expensive at 45 . It uses a similar method, but different ingredients, including Vitamin C, Caramel and Arnica for a uplifting multi-vitamin, wash-off tinted serum.
But for those who would prefer a more traditional tanning product, the Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam from Coco and Eve is described as an anti-aging self-tanning mousse with zero nasties for a natural, streak-free tan, It costs 26 , comes in three shades and is said to Blur pigmentation and perfect skin.
Back at PRAI, users of the Ageless Leg Perfecting Serum have been singing its praises. On Instagram, following the restock announcement, one shopper said: I found this serum to be just the perfect product to hide all those little imperfections to give my legs a dewy smooth finish.
Another added: Wow this leg serum is amazing my legs look so much better, I have even started wearing my shorts again.
Meanwhile, reviews on the M&S website have also been positive, with the formula having won over older shoppers looking for a more natural-looking finish. One 75-year-old customer wrote: "Super for creating a healthy look on the skin. I am 75 and have many blemishes and find this just gives a subtle coverage and is in no way orange."
Another praised the serum's ability to disguise visible veins, explaining: "I really liked this. It gives you a natural looking tan, but just for the day as it washes off when you shower. Perfect for me if I'm wearing a skirt or dress, covering up superficial veins and seems to moisturise as well."
Another added: "Goes on easily and gave my legs a nice subtle tint, so made me feel more confident to show off my pale legs."
Not every review was completely glowing, however. One shopper deducted a star after finding the formula slightly heavier than a traditional body moisturiser. They said: I liked the instant natural colour it gave to my skin and the streak free regular finish. It certainly blurred imperfections. I haven't noticed any colour transfer on my clothes. The 4* was that I found the texture to be a bit heavy compared to smooth body moisturisers. I didn't get that luxurious feel. Having said that, I liked the finished look and will be buying more.
One praised it as a great leg cover up, saying it was easy to apply with no bad smells, adding: covers unsightly lumps and bumps - highly recommended.
