Emergency services have swarmed outside a Costa Coffee branch after a huge "explosion".
Fire crews, medics and police rushed to the scene at a retail park in Bradford after a loud bang was heard across the Bolton Woods and Frizinghall areas of the city this morning.
A West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service fire engine was then spotted around 15 minutes later in the car park of the Costa branch in Stanley Road, the Telegraph & Argus reports.
Witnesses said firefighters were surrounding a parked car, which looked to be badly damaged, with its sides crumpled. One person was rushed to hospital, Yorkshire Ambulance Service has said.
The ambulance service sent a rapid response unit to the scene and an ambulance arrived shortly after. They said a call was first received at 10.08am and "an ambulance and team leader were dispatched to the scene".
A member of the public said: "I was sat having my morning coffee when I heard this huge explosion. I presumed it was a crash, but when I looked there was nothing obvious until a fire engine parked up in the Costa car park and the crew began inspecting a car.
"It looked like the occupants were alright thankfully but seemed in shock and were checked over by the ambulance team."
West Yorkshire Police said they were also at the scene with a van and two cars. Officers could be seen in conversation with the fire crew next to the vehicle, while two were seen heading into the Costa branch.
