Welsh mum Charmaine Hines has told of her nightmare trying to get home with her young family from a summer holiday in Barcelona.
She, her husband, and their three kids - aged four, 10 and 12 - have been stuck in Barcelona Airport, caught up in Friday's sudden Bristol Airport closure.
Charmaine and her family were supposed to fly at 10:05pm last night with easyJet and, well, that has not happened.
Last night they spent three and a half hours at Barcelona Airport with no access to food as they waited "as we had to go and collect our hold luggage", the mum-of-three told the Bristol Live.
Thankfully, easyJet did offer them hotel at 10.30pm, meaning the family did not have to spend the night on the airport floor.
But, communication has still been poor - we've "checked the app and [our] rearranged flight is already two hours delayed".
"No email or text from easyJet," the mum said, adding the only way the family have received any updates is by proactively checking the airline's app.
Charmaine slammed easyJet's handling of the situation and their lack of communication.
She said of last night that the "easyJet advisor at Barcelona airport was no help and didnt have a clue what to say or do.
"No care from easyJet the fact weve not eaten for nearly 24 hours. They expect us to have unlimited money to pay for everything, [meanwhile] we collect receipts and then will have to await refunds!"
She added: "It is not ideal with [it being] summer holidays, and having to wait - and no idea how long for - for our money back!"
To add insult to injury, the Welsh mum revealed that the family have rocked up to Barcelona Airport this morning to find no easyJet support staff present to assist with any queries.
