An 11-year-old boy has been killed following a horror crash involving a bus, a car and a cyclist.
The collision occurred on Derby's Nottingham Road close to Pentagon Island just before 6.45pm on Friday. The young boy who died was the cyclist.
Derbyshire Police said he suffered serious injuries during the crash and later died in hospital. A police spokesperson said: "His family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers. Our thoughts are with them at this time."
No arrests have been made, but officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, as well as anyone who has any dashcam footage, Derbyshire Live reports.
Derbyshire Police has asked anyone who can help its investigation to contact them via the force's website, via Facebook or by calling 101, quoting the reference 26000220550.
